ALOFM Sector 5 guides individuals who are hard and very hard to employ to us, whose vulnerabilities, such as lack of professional experience, education, ethnic discrimination, or psycho-emotional problems, hinder them from finding and maintaining a job.

Once they reach us, we start identifying their work capacities and desires and offer, as appropriate, social, vocational, and professional counseling. During the accompaniment, individuals are engaged in our socio-professional integration workshops, Remesh, and Educlick.

This transition period is formative for the people in the program, helping them rediscover themselves and believe in their own strengths, preparing them to enter the conventional job market.

That’s why ALOFM Sector 5 is part of our network of social partners, as Felicia Drăgan, Deputy Director of ALOFM Sector 5, tells us:

‘What motivated us to collaborate with AFF is the openness shown in collaboration at events organized by ALOFM Sector 5 and at job fairs. Also, those at AFF are well-prepared professionals, empathetic, and with a broad outlook in solving the specific problems of vulnerable people.’

You know the saying that each of us should make the change we want to see around? ADV Romania Alături de Voi Romania ADV is such a case. They have founded UtilDeco, a social enterprise of insertion that creates jobs for people with disabilities and helps them on the path to socio-professional integration. They want to inspire others and show that social insertion enterprises transform the lives of those who need a chance. They give them meaning and a sense of belonging.

They are, like us, members of Rise Romania, the Romanian Network of Social Insertion Enterprises, and our common goal is to integrate individuals from vulnerable categories into the labor market in Romania and to show that the social economy sector contributes to practices that are friendly to people, the environment, and the community.

Here’s what Ingrid Enache, Communication and Marketing Manager at ADV, tells us:

‘With a team of people devoted to favorize the social, political, economic, and cultural development of vulnerable populations, ADV Romania is a location of active and responsible citizenship. With a focus on social innovation, we support the vulnerable population’s access to economic, social, and cultural rights.’

The campaign “Social and Solidarity Economy Believes in People” aims to familiarize the general public with the field of social economy and the ways in which it can address current challenges.
